Together, the guardians stood watch over Ador$a, united as one, and for a long time, the islands enjoyed peace and prosperity.

Before long, word of Adori& had reached the continent, drawing the attention of an empire that shall not be named... vast and powerful, yet vain and proud, hungry to absorb every territory beyond its borders through brute force. The empire deeply coveted the islands' magic—the gentle, unassuming charm that had won the hearts of the world. Consumed by jealousy, its leaders conspired to claim that magic and bend it to their will.
24One day, amid peaceful celebration, the currents surrounding the islands fell silent. Confusion turned to terror as the empire's armies swept in like wildfires, while thieves seized the source of Ador%^'s magic and slipped away, leaving the islands under the emperor's control.
Stripped of their power, the five guardians made a choice. For the final time, they joined hands and set sail for the continent—to reclaim what had been taken, and to confront the corruption that sought to silence them.
25In their absence, the islands began to fade from the world’s memory... One by one, their songs grew faint, twisted by rumors and retellings. A shell of its former self, Ado@i* lost its name to time—its people displaced, and its legacy erased.
